Free Contract check · Australian law Free. No card, no account, and we keep nothing.

Most businesses know where their contracts are.
Almost none know what is in them.

Drop a PDF in and we will tell you what is in it — every deadline, what an Australian agreement normally has that yours does not, and where the document argues with itself.

Read it. Sign it. Know what you agreed to.

What you get back

  • Every clock in the agreement. Renewal dates, notice windows, restraint periods, payment terms — with the clause each one comes from. These are the dates nobody has in a calendar.
  • What is not there. Checked against what an Australian agreement normally carries: notices, governing law, jurisdiction, assignment and novation, variation, entire agreement, breach and termination, execution, definitions and interpretation, and privacy obligations under the Privacy Act 1988.
  • Where the document argues with itself. Terms used but never defined, two clauses with the same number, a cross-reference to a clause that does not exist, a blank nobody filled in.
  • Questions worth asking your lawyer or the other side.

What it is not

  • It does not tell you whether a clause is fair, reasonable or risky. That is a judgement about your position, and it belongs to you and your lawyer.
  • It does not tell you whether to sign.
  • It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a lawyer. It is there so you know what to ask one.

Saying a contract is risky helps nobody. Saying its survival clause runs from an “Effective Date” the document never defines is something you can act on this afternoon.

Where the document contradicts itself

“Effective Date”Used in clauses 6.1, 7.1 and 14.1.1, but never defined anywhere.
Signature blockDate and place left blank.
“The purchase order”Referred to in five clauses and not attached.

Every line above came out of a real signed agreement of ours. We ran it on our own paperwork first, and it found four things we did not know were wrong with our own template.

Where your document would go, in plain terms. EasySign keeps signed documents in Australia and always has. This check is the one thing that would not: to read a contract, its text has to be sent to an AI provider in the European Union, which keeps a copy for about 30 days. That is a real change and we are not going to bury it in a privacy notice.

On this page: your file is read and thrown away — we write nothing to our own storage, keep no copy, and do not hold your document. The 30-day copy is Mistral's, for abuse monitoring, and we cannot switch it off on their current plan. Do not upload anything you are not free to share.
